New Construction/One Year Warranty Inspections
A one-year warranty inspection (sometimes called an 11-month inspection) is relevant to homeowners who purchase custom homes or move-in-soon properties, such as those in a residential community like West Lake.
When you purchase a new-construction home, the builder typically extends a one-year home warranty guaranteeing specific issues that may arise in the first year of homeownership.
Scheduling a 1-year warranty inspection can help you address any existing or potential issues while they are still covered under your builder's warranty. You'll want to schedule this inspection at least a few weeks before the end of your builder's warranty to ensure there's enough time to submit any claims on it. This is why it's sometimes called an 11-month inspection.
