With nearly three decades of experience in the home inspection industry and a solid background in construction, Cathy brings a depth of knowledge and experience to 5th Avenue Building Inspections. From managing client communications to answering phones, scheduling appointments, and keeping the books balanced, Cathy manages the company's daily operations with precision. Never underestimate the power of a well-organized office and a good attitude! Outside of work, Cathy is passionate about fitness, family, and personal growth. She's most likely to be found powering through a Spin class to unwind and reenergize or running a 5K on the weekends. Married to Joey Caballero for nearly 30 years, been married to Joey for 28 years, and together we’ve raised a wonderful son, Stefan.

Stefan James Hibbitts-Caballero grew up around the business and joined 5th Ave Building Inspections in an official capacity in 2019! A registered Professional Inspector with FABI, Stefan also carries certifications in mold assessment and WDO (Wood Destroying Organisms). He enjoys how his work takes him to different areas and different homes every day. Outside of work, he enjoys spending time with his family and daughter and recently picked up a new habit of running 5Ks!

Tom Burgess has been with 5th Ave Building Inspections for 20 years! He is a Licensed Home Inspector, Mold Assessor, and Certified Termite Inspector with a reputation for his extensive knowledge of building systems, attention to detail, and customer/realtor relations. For Tom, the most satisfying parts of the job include getting to help clients buy their next home with confidence, turning inspection reports around in hours, not days, and communicating findings in a balanced, accurate way. Outside of his work, Tom enjoys teaching and practicing martial arts, traveling with his wife, and spoiling their shih tzu, Rambo.

Mariano Hurtado has been with 5th Ave Building Inspections for 12 years! He holds multiple inspection licenses, including Florida home inspector License No. 7907, Florida mold assessor License No. MRSA4022, Wood Destroying Organism Inspector License No. JE199172, and a Wind Mitigation and Four Point Inspector No. 0002868. His favorite part of the job is getting to do something new and meet new people every day. In his spare time, Mariano enjoys spending quality time with his grandkids!
